WELL P&A AND DECOMMISSIONING PROJECTS
A Cessation project typically tally P&A of wells, pre-work for Decommissioning and the Decommission work where the platform is partly of fully removed.
OIM Ltd units such as the BT-400PAU is tailormade for these combined activities including if possible SIMOPS of P&A and prep-work for Decommissioning. Modules, Jackets or part of them can be lifted on to the PAU deck for further processing into piece medium or piece small. Alternativity, modules or Jackets/sections can be lifted directly onto a vessel or barge deck for transport back to shore.
The unit’s WOR can perform Heavy Work Over operations including:
- Side-tracks (out to 15,000’)
- ESP change out
- Clean-out of existing casing/tubing
- Milling operations
TENDER ASSIST AND MODULAR WORK OVER RIG PROJECTS
If there for any reason is no possibility to perform well work with the Cantilever, a Modular Drilling Rig can be lifted onboard to the host platform. The PAU rig will then serve as a Tender Assist Unit for the drilling or well operation. The unit can cater for large quantities of cement, mud and other liquids etc supporting the operation.
The OIM Ltd. Jack-Up units can provide flexible accommodation and heavy lift construction support for Hook-Up and Commissioning activities during installation of new Jackets and Topsides.
The rigs can accommodate large number of construction personnel and by being a Jack-Up have 100% up-time during all weather conditions unlike semi-submersible accommodation and construction support rigs.
The OIM units are flexible assets with removable cantilever providing large free deck space which can be used for temporary storage of equipment and modules. The OMC 2200 HLC can install add-on modules etc. The Unit can, with it’s permanent Living Quarter accommodate more than the typical number of personnel which are required for large Brownfield projects.
SUBSEA WELL INTERVENTION, P&A AND DECOMMISSIONING
The units can perform subsea well intervention and P&A work. In the same operation cut the Wellhead Conductor and Casing etc., and as part of the same operation remove the Wellhead template avoiding mobilisation of additional vessels for the subsea decommissioning work.
The OMC 2200 HLC can install or remove subsea structure up to 900 mT at max operational water depth.
OFFSHORE WIND PROJECTS
The units with the large Heavy Lift Crane have a very high hook height and therfor be capable of lifting the largest Wind Turbines onto the highest WTG towers including Floating WTG at a in or nearshore dedicated location. The units can also be used for e.g. installation and Commissioning of Transformer stations.
